New Year, New Elements: Preview of the #RealTimeChem Week 2016 Blog Carnival

The leaves are changing here in New England, and that means… it’s almost time for the Blog Carnival in celebration of #RealTimeChem week 2016!

We here at Elsevier Chemistry (@ElsChemistry) are excited to host again, and will be putting up round-ups here on SciTechConnect. Bloggers, be sure to tweet links to your posts with the hashtag above or #NewElemChem in order to be included.

This year, the week will begin on Monday, October 31. Dr. Jay’s excellent theme, suggested by Nadine (@nadineborduas), is New Elements in Chemistry. It seems appropriate, as last year looked both backwards and forward, for blogs this year to take a step back and look at the new things we see today: in the lab, in our personal lives, in grad school, and on the periodic table—not to mention out in the world with implications for scientists around the globe. Much has happened in the past 365 days, and so we’re looking forward to hearing the good, the bad, the disappointing, and the promising.
