AAPS2015 Booth

This year, the happy city of Orlando, Florida was the host for the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS 2015). The seven programme themes for the 2015 conference were: Big Data / Drug Delivery Technologies / Impurities / Microdialysis, Imaging, Target Site / Modeling / Regulatory Challenges Affecting Global Community / Transporters.
We showcased the innovative and informative published and forthcoming content in books and journals and offered USB sticks with useful material which were very much appreciated by the attendees.

To increase the fun during the expo, we held the book-a-day giveaway at the booth and took advantage of the opportunity to talk to our customers and authors/editors about trends in the industry and more. Below are some images of our winner and our distinguished authors:

AnneJuppoAnne Juppo is a professor at the University of Helsinki. She was excited to pick a book that she felt would not only be useful to her teaching, but more importantly helpful to her students as well. Anne picked Pharmaceutics: Basic Principles and Application to Pharmacy Practice edited by Alekha Dash, Somnath Singh and Justin Tolman.

Kulkarni (1)Both Dr. Kulkarni and Dr. Shaw stopped by the booth to see the bound proof of their forthcoming book, Essential Chemistry for Formulators of Semisolid and Liquid Dosages. This comprehensive work offers scientists and students the foundation and practical guidance to make and analyze semisolid and liquid formulations.

DiDr. Li Di visited the booth to see the bound proof of the 2nd edition of her forthcoming book, Drug-Like Properties: Concepts, Structure Design and Methods from ADME to Toxicity Optimization. This book is an essential ADMET (absorption, distribution, metabolism, elimination, toxicology) resource for selecting and advancing high quality drug candidates.
