Companion Materials

You can access companion materials for your books on the Elsevier Store.

Store search bar

Using the search bar at the top of the page, type in the author’s name, book title or ISBN and then click on the appropriate book and hit enter. You will be direct to another landing page with additional book information. See below for an example:

Resources Tab

Once you are on the correct book page, look for the “Resources” tab below the book cover (highlighted in yellow) and click on it. Any relevant Companion Materials or “Instructor Materials” will be listed below. If you know that your book has companion resources, but no “Resources” tab is listed, please contact your author and/or editor and they will ensure the information is uploaded to the page as-soon-as-possible.

I have a Third Edition copy of “Texturing & Modelling – A Procedural Approach” which has web links (for source code) to the Morgan Kauffmann Publishing site and now just bring me to your home-page. Since you have taken over this domain, don’t you think it would have been polite to maintain links to online resources for books like this? I have tried the suggested method for finding companion material above, but you only have an e-book first edition listed with no resources. Please advise.

    • SciTechConnect

Hi Sam. Unfortunately the book is 14 years old and associated content, links and resources are not available. I cannot find the 3rd edition of the book on the Elsevier store. Did you purchase it from Amazon or a third party?

      • Sam Swain

It is owned by a friend. I have no idea where they got it. Surely this is irrelevant as it’s still a MKP published book. It’s this version:

          Hi Sam,

After some digging I found the link to companion materials for this book –http://booksite.elsevier.com/9781558608481/?ISBN=9781558608481

Any MKP companion content that isn’t linked out to from the Store can be found at booksite.mkp.com

Wonderful, thankyou. That’s more like it 🙂

          • Vavavoom

Actually, no. I cannot find any for “Agile Data Warehousing Project Management” by Ralph Hughes. It’s the main Reason I bought the book.

          • SciTechConnect

Which version and who did you purchase it through? http://store.elsevier.com/searchResults.jsp?_requestid=2417431

          • Vavavoom

            Ebook through Amazon. AISN B00AMZZQRK

You’ll have to follow up with Amazon. The two versions on the Elsevier store (2012 and 2013) have no mention or links to companion materials, so this is likely the 2008 edition, which unfortunately we do not carry.

          • Vavavoom

It is the 2012 version and says very clearly on it. There is in fact a mention of a companion website in the book that links to nothing. My point is the same as Sam Swain. If you bought this publisher it should be irrelevant where i purchased it.

          • SciTechConnect

Please provide me the full title of the book, ISBN and the link provided to the companion materials and I will go digging. Thank you.

Thank you. I’ve kicked this up to our publisher and customer support team. Hopefully they can find an active link with these materials. I’ll keep you posted.

          • SciTechConnect

Thank you for your patience. We’re still waiting to hear back from the author about companion materials. In the meantime, I found this website associated with the author’s work and books. It may provide the information you’re looking for, or at least the put you in direct contact with someone who can assist further as customer support and our publishers have no knowledge of these companion material pages – http://ceregenics.com/
