Merging Websites to Improve User Experience and Discovery
We are in the process of merging Store.Elsevier.com into Elsevier.com to create a single online catalog experience, allowing us to deliver more relevant information and user journeys for a wide range of needs.
Improved Search Engine Traffic
The new, combined Elsevier.com will serve over 20 million visitors viewing over 70 million pages per year. Having a single online catalog will improve Elsevier’s already strong search engine results position, driving even greater exposure and discoverability for our authors’ titles.
Phased Launch Complete by May 2016
The migration is scheduled to be complete by May 2016. The first phase has already started and you’ll begin to see improved features over the the next few months, including:
- Redesigned book title pages
- Updated navigation
- Improved site search functions
Optimized for Mobile Devices
The new Elsevier.com book title pages will also be optimized for mobile devices, making content accessibility much more convenient.
