On Using Graph Database technology at Behance. Interview with David Fox
Earlier this month, Prof Zicari had the pleasure of interviewing David Fox. David is a Software Engineer at Adobe, responsible for backend infrastructure and performance of Behance – a social network for creatives, serving over 10 million members owned by Adobe. They discussed Behance data requirements and focused on their experience in implementing Behance`s activity feed which allows users to follow their favorite creatives and curate galleries based on preferences. They first used a column store NoSQL database, Cassandra and later on they replaced Cassandra with a graph-database, Neo4j-.
