ASIS International Awards Elsevier Book With 2018 Security Industry Book Of The Year
We are delighted to announce that ASIS International has named The Five Technological Forces Disrupting Security: How Cloud, Social, Mobile, Big Data, and IoT are Transforming Physical Security in the Digital Age by Steve Van Till as its 2018 Security Industry Book of the Year. Steve Van Till is an industry expert and the Co-Founder and President of Brivo, Inc. – a pioneering provider of access control, video surveillance, mobile, and identity services. He holds several patents for inventions in the security industry and is frequently invited to write and speak for industry publications and forums. In 2009, Mr. Van Till was named one of the “Top 25 Most Influential People in the Security Industry” by Security Magazine. He has more than 10 years of wireless communications experience in high-ranking positions at companies such as Geostar and Communications Satellite Corporation, and has been at the forefront of digital security and internet strategy since the beginning of the dot-com era.
